Field Technician HVAC - EPG Rental
Description
This position provides the service of installing and performing all maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs all first-time (start-up) installations for HVAC systems while ensuring compatibility with all other equipment to be installed
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems to ensure the entire HVAC system runs safely and efficiently
- Ensures accuracy and completion of all documentation, including service reports and time keeping
- Monitor and comply with all safety policies, procedures, guidelines, and laws as they pertain to staff and customers within the location
- Ensures all facilities and equipment are in excellent, safe operating condition
- Maintain daily correspondence with staff from all departments within the Company, Customers, Suppliers, and Caterpillar
Occasional/Other Responsibilities:
- Assist with performing service on other industry-related systems such as generators, distribution, and switchgear. (Caterpillar, Cummins, Kohler, Generac, and others)
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the HVAC field
- Type 1 & Type 2 EPA Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred
- 3 years or more of experience in the HVAC field
- Universal EPA Certification
- CDL or Chauffer’s License

Physical Requirements of Position
- Regular travel (0-25%) during the day.
- Regular confined sitting (at computer, in car, etc.)

- Frequent rapid use of arms, hands, or fingers, in handling or manipulating objects, or operating equipment, tools, and/or instruments requiring fine eye-hand coordination
- Frequent repeated bending, crouching, stretching, or crawling
- Frequent unaided lifting of objects up to 50 pounds. Regular unaided lifting of objects 100+ pounds
- Frequent climbing on ladders, equipment, etc.
- Frequent communication with other individuals. Must be able to exchange accurate information when speaking with customers, coworkers, and vendors.

Work Environment of Position
Frequent exposure to:
- Loud noise level (need to shout in order to be heard)
- Outside weather conditions
- Walking on uneven ground (gravel, rocks, mounds)
- Moving mechanical parts machinery (forklifts, tractors, mowers)
- Wearing protective equipment (respirator, mask, earplugs, gloves, eyewear, etc.)
Regular exposure to:
- Temperatures below 32 degrees
- Temperatures above 100 degrees
- Air particles (Dust, gas, fumes, steam, chemicals, etc.)
- Vibrations
- Working at heights (such as on scaffolding or ladders)

$44.40 per hour!
