Die Design and Development Integration Engineer
Die Development Department is responsible for the New Die Building Block development as per BU request. It could be a Performance upgrade of prevailing Generation Products to compete in the market or It could be totally new technologies to keep Lumileds ahead of others for Long term business. While Development, different Milestones need to meet as per committed timelines to deliver the product on time with Quality and reliability conformance as per indicated in specs. Apart from mentioned above, DDD also responsible to provide products with a yield comparable to baseline yields, cost reduction where ever possible. So DDD has to run its learning cycle lots at a fast pace and cycle time of those lots are monitored. It consists of two teams; the InGaN team and VTF Team. The integration team is responsible for providing process flow with continuous improvements, Monitoring and timely disposition of Lots in the line, and work with Inspection and test teams to set up those functions. It also liaises with World Wide team for arranging discussion on the progress of the program. Finally, the Integration team is the one who presents various Milestones Exit to transfer the process to production. Being a part of this team, you will get detailed knowledge of Process Flow. You will have interaction with Development Modules as well as the design team and manage a program. You will also be looking for opportunities to Automate/simplify some of the routine jobs.
Technical Skills and Competencies Trainee will learn during SGUnited Traineeship Programme:
Understand the Basic technologies’ Process flows and day to day job logistics and procedure
Start assisting a program manager in the current program
Daily Morning World Wide meetings
Daily Pre Alignment/review with UPD team
TPL weekly meeting
Eligibility Criteria for SGUnitedTraineeships:
• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
a. Graduated or graduating in the calendar year 2019 or 2020 from ITEs, polytechnics, universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions);
b. Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020.
