Position Summary:

  • Defines the sales plan for a product or subset (not critical) in a country. Supports product maintenance and transitions, ensuring efficient product information, training and benchmarking.
  • Work closely together with sales and business development, e.g. for operational prudence. Performs visits to selected customers.
  • Assistant to sales with key account presentations and other product support. Check/validate market and product related data are in place.
  • Escalates product allocation issues.

  

What You Will Do:

  • Drive end-to-end operational excellence, partnering with global teams in supply chain and engineering to maximize manufacturing success, with specific focus onto Lumileds’ legacy portfolio
  • Work intimately with business development and regional account teams upon a relationship of reciprocity:
    • Translate the "voice of the customer" into clear, actionable items for engineering
      II. Plan, develop, and execute to performance roadmaps that are synthesized alongside product and core technology teams
      III. Collaborate with reliability and quality teams in support of a product's committed entry and exit from the market
    • Support quarterly business reviews to executive stakeholders, reporting on key metrics of the portfolio's health in the market
    • Maintain marketing and technical documentation libraries, as well the activities that bolster such information

 

What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications):

  • Experience working swiftly within, and between, complex organizational structures where strong cross-functional relationships are keys to success
  • Experience with analytical problem solving and quantitative analysis, and ultimately its presentation to senior management
  • Ability to balance multiple, concurrent projects in an environment where timelines and prioritizations will shift
  • Proven capacity to understand, develop, and iterate strategy
  • Passionate and thorough work ethic, and a ruthless execution to meet timelines and deliverables
  • Clear, strong written and oral communication skills, as well as effective interpersonal abilities

 

Education (Minimum Level)

  • Bachelor's

 

Field of Study

  • Any engineering discipline is a plus or relevant product / program management experience

 

Years of Experience (Minimum)

  • 3 - 5 years

  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in the semiconductor or lighting industries is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is a big plus
