Description

The Lucidworks Professional Services team helps companies, small and
large seamlessly make the switch to Lucidworks products and supports
them along the way. You swiftly problem-solve technical issues for
customers to show how our products can make businesses more productive
and innovative. You work closely with a cross-functional team of
sales, customer success and other data scientists/engineers, not to
mention a variety of both regional and international customers. Your
relationships with customers are crucial in helping Lucidworks
Professional Services business and in bringing our product portfolio
into companies around the world.

The Professional Services Data Science team provides customers with
the opportunity to work side by side with Lucidworks Machine learning
experts in an immersive experience that enables companies to advocate
their highest impact business challenges. The mission of the PS Organization is to ensure that our customers and partners get the most out of the Lucidworks Professional Services offering, whether that be Search, Connectors, Data Science or a combination of these products.

In this role you will be focused on delivering and, at times creating,
cutting-edge ML training to the Lucidwork Customers. You will be
working side by side with our customers as they try to see how they
can apply ML to their businesses.
Act as an ML subject matter expert within the Lucidworks Professional
Services team and support other ML activities as they arise.

Responsibilities:
Manage and guide delivery across the complete portfolio of Fusion Analytics and AI.
Partner closely with Engineering directors, Product leaders, Sales strategy, and executive leadership to ensure solutions alignment with Engineering, product priorities, and Go-To-Market (GTM) priorities.
Inspire other solutions groups to accelerate opportunities by streamlining processes, identifying tooling efficiencies, simplifying execution, managing objectives and key results (OKRs).
Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required.
Demonstrate an executive vision and direction for Fusion Data Science solutions definition and commercialization.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical
experience.
• Experience conducting technical implementation or training
experience in a client-facing technical consulting/educating
role.
• Experience building ML models for different use cases.
Experience building production ML models.
• Experience with data processing technologies (e.g. Spark, SQL).
• Frequent travel is part of the job. You might be required to
travel as frequently as once a week.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics or other quantitative fields.
• Experience managing new product features and successfully
delivering them to clients/students.
• Experience working in a fast-moving technology area, while
being comfortable working in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous
environment.
• Proficiency in one or more Search technologies such as Apache
Solr, Lucidworks Fusion.
• A passion for learning and continued self-development.
