LSSI is hiring a full-time Child Welfare Supervisor. Responsible for the planning, directing and coordination of activities of assigned CCS Programs. May include one or more program sites generally involving multiple service lines. Supervises a unit of Child Welfare Specialists and/or Child Welfare Assistants providing child welfare services which could include foster care, adoption services, intact family services, and/or counseling services.

Essential Functions:
- Provide individualized training and feedback to assigned staff to enhance their capabilities.
- Responsible for the review and evaluation of assigned staff.
- Ensure the productivity requirements established by the Program Director or designee are met.
- Provide direct supervision and support to assigned staff to provide an array of services per service plan and policies of the agency, accreditation and regulatory bodies.
- Compile, complete and submit all required data, billings, reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as required by agency and funding sources.
- Communicates with the Program Director, work group and collateral agencies regarding children's and/or family status.
- Collaborate with other management staff in programs and network on programmatic, fiscal, organization and community issues.

- Master's Degree in social work or other related human services field required.
- 3 to 5 years' of progressive experience in social services required.
- Valid and active CWEL License.
- Supervisory experience and experience with Child Welfare preferred.
- Ability to respond to client emergencies on a 24-hour basis, attend court, ACRs, staffing, and other related matters.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and other related software.
- Background check clearance, both criminal and CANTS required.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
- Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
- Access to reliable transportation required.
