Together you will be managing the physical upkeep of our apartment building and grounds. This is a great position for someone who is looking to build their knowledge of facilities maintenance. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 4:00PM / Saturday, hours vary.

Essential Functions:
- Perform routine maintenance, janitorial duties and repair of buildings and grounds.
- Report needs for major repairs.
- Follow standards regarding safety, licensing, regulatory and agency requirements.
- Implement and manage preventive maintenance program.
- Assist in resident apartment or room turnover preparations.
- Perform on-call service, as scheduled, and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent or six (6) or more months maintenance related experience
- required.
- Trade or technical school training preferred.
- Background check clearance required.
- Three (3) to five (5) years maintenance experience preferred.
- HUD, OSHA, REAC, and ECT or related training preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, verbally and written.
- Good organization and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
- Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
- Access to reliable transportation required.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
