LSSI is hiring a full-time Wait StaffResponsible for completing assigned food service duties. 
*This position complies with the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) rule, which requires that employees working in certain programs are fully vaccinated unless you have a medical or religious exemption. Routine COVID-19 Testing is required from the COVID-19 vaccination*

Essential Functions: 
  • Assist cook with food preparation.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines and food service requirements in accordance with regulatory, licensing, and agency standards.
  • Prepare table in dining areas.
  • Serve tables before, during and after meal service.
  • Assist in care and cleaning of dining room and kitchen areas, utensils, equipment, an supplies.
  • Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Background check clearance required.
  • Food Sanitation or Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Two-step TB test required.
  • Experience operating kitchen equipment in a safe manner required.
  • Previous waitstaff experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
