LSSI is hiring a full-time Staff Accountant Monday through Friday. Responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of reports and statements.

Essential Functions:
  • Post, review, and file all monthly entries and reconciliations as well as GL account validations.
  • Responsible for monthly recording and reconciliation of agency bank accounts along with various balance sheet accounts on a timely basis.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements.
  • Reconcile various balance sheet accounts, including payroll.
  • Support business unit review analytic through Power Bl, including but not limited to subsystem billing data.
  • Support government cost reporting process for various networks including running various financial reports.
  • Manage the annual audit process for various networks related to billing monthly journal entries.
  • Provide direct supervision, training, support, review, and evaluation for assigned staff.
  • Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/business required.
  • Background check clearance required.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic math functions required.
  • Experience using Great Plains preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent organization, and pc/computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
