LSSI is hiring a full-time Accounting Business Manager/Grants. To oversee the business and accounting functions for Grant Funded Programs.

Essential Functions:    

  • Work in conjunction with finance to coordinate, prepare governmental reporting (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and final delivery to management and state or federal agencies such as CYEFR, GATA, etc. Build relationship with key state agencies.
  • Assist in managing Accounts receivable process (Collection trends), 606 Analysis, and bad debt reserve process with Network Controller and Revenue Cycle Director.
  • Manage close process: Coordinate and process the Month end close for Carelogic, GL Integrations, Journal Entries, running aging’s/analysis/Payment Application.
  • Managing the Expense based grants within the BHS network (excluding consent decree programs); this includes understanding contract requirements, tracking and submitting allowable expenses timely within the correct GL line item and programs. Responsible to monitor and keep and track all necessary receipts/documentation related the expense grants for audits.
  • Read and comply with grant, contractual and funder requirements in accordance with CFR200.
  • Perform banking transactions related to grant fund management.
  • Enter transactional information in the accounting system and subledger system.

Position Qualifications:    

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 1-3 years of accounting
  • Experience in grant fund management preferred.
  • Able to manage and summarize large amounts of data.
  • Great Plaines/Dynamics Experience Preferred.
  • Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Excel.
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
