Description
LSSI is hiring part-time DSPs for the West Shady Oaks location in Homer Glen. Responsible for assisting adults with developmental disabilities and providing care in all areas of daily living in a residential setting.
Multiple Shifts Available:
2nd Shift 2:30 pm-11:00 pm every other weekend 8:30 am-8:30 pm
3rd Shift 11:00 pm-8:30 am every other weekend 8:30 am-8:30 pm

Essential Functions:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Drive and escort clients to outings, appointments, etc. into the community.
- Safely complete client transfers per facility protocol.
- Performs various housekeeping tasks as assigned.
- Implement client individual habilitation plans.
Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- DSP Certification, CPR First Aide preferred.
- Ability to meet extensive physical requirements of the position.
- Ability to read & write English adequately to complete required documentation.
- Ability to communicate adequately with clients, families, & co-workers.
- Valid Illinois driver’s license.
