LSSI is hiring a full-time Housekeeper. Provide Supportive services to clients and staff. Be Liaison to Supervisory reporting on daily housekeeping operations, ensure daily housekeeping duties.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide housekeeping and laundry services to resident as stated in the service plan.
  • Attend initial training, in-service training sessions and staff conferences.
  • Maintain communication with residents and other staff as appropriate.
  • Respond to scheduled or unpredictable needs and emergency calls from
  • Participate in in-services programs and other educational programming in order to meet certification requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a relationship that fosters the resident’s dignity and self-respect and encourages resident independence.
  • Perform other related tasks as necessary or assigned. 

Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Have 1-3 years’ experience preferred.
  • Prefer minimum of one year experience.
  • Certified in emergency resuscitation.
  • Complete a Two-Step Tuberculin skin test.
  • Pass Health Care Worker Background Check.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Be willing to participate in required training to meet requirements of the SLF program.
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word and Excel) along with other related software.
  • Valid IL driver’s license.
