LSSI is hiring a full-time IS Systems Engineer. Responsible for the maintenance and support of LSSI’s systems infrastructure. This involves working with business stakeholders and ensuring the right solutions are in place to effectively and efficiently automate processes and eliminate waste.

Essential Functions:   
  • Work closely with the Infrastructure Manager and the team to ensure the right solutions and tools are in place to maintain a secure and reliable network.
  • Work closely with other Engineers and the Manager to ensure priorities, projects, and tasks are implemented and maintained in alignment with the LSSI’s strategy.
  • Inform end-of-life and support issues as well as resolve and/or escalate issues as needed.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure adequate support exists on products. Ensure vendor delivers as promised.
  • Work with project managers to ensure end-users training material is updated.
  • Support and maintain the backup environment to ensure RTO (Recovery Time Objective) and RPO (Recovery Point Objective) are met. Ensure Disaster Recovery Plan is supported by the right tools and processes.
  • Microsoft Azure: Experience with Microsoft Azure AD, Site recovery, Microsoft 365 deployment, migration from exchange.
  • Microsoft AutoPilot: Strong technical skills in Autopilot profile creation, including devic provisioning, MECM Device enrollment, and management.
  • Intune: Develop, configure, and manage Intune and Autopilot profiles for device enrollment and management. Proven experience with Intune software deployment.
  • Mobile MDM: Implement and maintain policies for device compliance, security, and configuration.
  • Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:    
  • High school diploma or equivalent, a minimum often (10) years’ experience in IT required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in infrastructure management, including but not limited to servers, backup, endpoint devices, and security solutions required.
  • Excellent knowledge of network solutions, including but not limited to QAN, LAN, MPLS, Ethernet, and DNS required.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience with Windows Server operating systems as it relates to builds, upgrade and patching required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software troubleshooting.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience with backup technologies to support on-prem and remote backups to support recovery and disaster recovery efforts preferred.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience with phone systems to support the unified communication needs to the organization preferred.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience administering an Office 365 environment with a Hybrid Azure AD environment preferred.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience administering a Team’s 365 environment preferred.
  • Office 365 certified preferred.
  • Background check clearance required.
  • Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
  • Access to reliable transportation required.
  • Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, verbally and written.
  • Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
