What You Will Do:  
Lowenstein Sandler is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual for a position in its Practice Support Department.  This position will sit in our Roseland, NJ office and currently offers a hybrid work opportunity.        

Essential Job Requirements         

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to case teams, Practice Support members and other firm personnel.
  • Analyze, load and process incoming data to meet case requirements.
  • Perform quality control on internal and external data.
  • Create, modify, and maintain databases and applications to support all practice areas.
  • Perform case set up, collections, searches, and productions.
  • Research database capabilities (utilizing manuals and technical support).
  • Complete research projects, as requested, and document results.
  • Draft proposals, coding/scanning specifications and project protocols for internal and external document processing.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems related to Practice Support software, desktop application and equipment.
  • Maintain administrative systems to document support services, databases, etc. used for individual cases or department projects.
  • Perform tasks associated with OCR conversion, PDF conversion, media creation and image printing.
  • Maintain physical order of source media and other related materials.
  • Assist with complex database searches, generation of reports, printing, document production (paper and electronic), create CDs/DVDs/Hard Drives.
  • Assist with creation of electronic bound volume sets.
  • Assemble exhibits for depositions, trials, arbitrations, etc.
  • Assist in establishing and implementing firm policies regarding data management and information governance.
  • Customize training materials.

Skills and Experience Requirements       

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related role.
  • Previous applicable law firm experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in litigation software and eDiscovery systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of e-Discovery issues and an understanding of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Client service attitude and ability to work well with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work independently on assignments while providing regular progress reports.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.
Software Requirements:      
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • 2 years’ experience in litigation technology support to include installation, configuration, and maintenance of applications like Relativity, IPRO Open Discovery, CaseMap, eScan-It, and TrialDirector.
Office location: Roseland, NJ (Hybrid)
Schedule: Full-time; Core Hours: Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Amount of Travel Required: Some travel may be required
