What you’ll do:
- Knowledge of welding techniques is preferred
- The ability to use proper safety and protective equipment
- Strong-willed individual ready to learn and advance their automotive knowledge
- Automotive/mechanical experience is required
- Metal fabrication experience is considered an asset
- Strong math skills
- Welding certificate is considered an asset
- Assisting in the fleet repair shop
- Perform road tests using safe driving standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Willingness for continued learning and knowledge improvement
- Perform a variety of tasks throughout the fleet maintenance to ensure the team’s success
Do you fit the part?
- Welding, Fleet, and Parts experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities
- Time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to adhere to the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program
