Do you fit the part?
What You’ll Do:
- Complete scheduled overnight runs to regions such as Vancouver Island, the Okanagan, Interior, Kootenays, and Alberta.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status
- Perform loading/unloading tasks, which may include assisting at locations using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Sort freight at the crossdocking facility
- Work with staff to ensure seamless customer service for the customer
- Transport outbound freight and return with special orders and customer returns
- Maintain daily vehicle logs
- Receive adequate rest periods to ensure compliance with hours‑of‑service requirements
Do you fit the part?
- Class 1 license with MANUAL TRANSMISSION
- Experience driving semi trucks
- Remain flexible, as routes may change based on operational needs.
- Willingness to work away from home for 2 nights per week
- Stay overnight as required depending on the route (typically 1–2 nights per week).
- Must have forklift and pallet jack experience
- Clean drivers abstract preferred
- Dangerous goods experience is an asset
- Mountain/winter driving experience an asset
- Electronic log usage is an asset
- Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to adhere to the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program
