Position: Logistics Coordinator       
Location: Port Coquitlam, BC      

Shifts: Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 6:00pm

What you’ll do:     
  • Keep completed staged orders segregated by destination and clearly marked so that orders get loaded into the correct truck.
  • Ensure transferred special orders from stores coming into L1 are staged with Quick Pick orders picked at L1.
  • Cover for the Logistics supervisor during their absence.
  • Ensure all product is clearly labelled with the Store number and name.
  • Ensure all the Dangerous Goods paperwork (if required) and invoices are with the correct shipment.
  • When time permits, help the drivers load their trucks in the most cost-effective way without an opportunity to damage the goods in transit, EI Max the cubic space but do not top load heavy items on crushable goods.
  • Scan invoices into Elite Extra and ensure routes are being assigned to the correct driver.
  • Ensure all product matches the invoices and are segregated by store in clearly marked containers.
  • Look for any unsafe practices or work areas and report them to a Safety Committee member. Keep current with product knowledge on Dangerous goods, fragile goods, weights, and packaging.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Requires the ability to be organized, multitask, and solve problems.
  • Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to adhere to the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program
  • Steel toe shoes are required

The starting wage is $22.00-$27.00/hr based on leadership experience.
