Position: DC Services EDI Coordinator
Location: Port Coquitlam, BC (Distribution Center)
Shift: Mon – Fri, 7:00-3:30pm
The DC Services EDI Coordinator will support the ASN and pre delivery process, ensuring Vendors adhere to our requirements laid out in our Supplier handbook. The goal for this role is to add addition support and work alongside the DC Services EDI Specialist to make sure we continue to add more vendors to ASN 856 process and set up Pre deliveries for ones that are not capable. Will also help stay on top of entering score card info into the power app.
Major Responsibilities
- Review the inbound appointment schedule and create pre-deliveries for shipments from vendors not yet enabled for EDI ASNs.
- Regularly assess and recommend improvements to pre-delivery and receiving processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed. Collaborate with the receiving team and vendors to implement these improvements.
- Ensure ASNs are received correctly from the Vendors with no errors. Be a contact for troubleshooting EDI ASN errors and coordinate with Receivers to resolve issues promptly.
- Work closely with the DC Services EDI Specialist and vendors to proactively identify and resolve any recurring issues related to ASNs, packaging, and compliance. Ensure clear communication channels are maintained to address concerns efficiently and prevent future problems.
- Enter data collected from receiving into the power app and pull reports from Power BI and other reporting tools to identify trends and areas for improvement in vendor performance.
- Make requests for new packaging/cartons for damaged cartons found at receiving.
- Comply with company policies and procedures giving special attention to ensure safety and health regulations in the warehouse are followed and enforced.
- Keep current with product knowledge, EDI requirements and WMS System
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support operational and continuous improvement objectives.

- Get trained on EDI ASN trouble shooting and power app entry.

- Help determine which Vendors cannot provide ASNs and how we gather information to create a pre delivery in MAM.
- Always keep the warehouse safe, organized, and tidy.
Ideal Qualifications
- At least 2 years of varied warehouse experience
- Familiar with Receiving process and the flow of inbound materials
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
- Must be willing to work as a member of a team and be flexible in undertaking a variety of duties that will contribute to the success of the organization.
- Must be physically fit, able to lift safely and repeatedly, stack, pull and carry heavy items.
- Requires the ability to work with computer applications such as Power BI, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Good with working with data and able to dissect incorrect information.
- Strong math skills and very detail oriented are critical.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Requires the ability to be organized, multitask, and solve problems.
