Position: Distribution Centre Service Supervisor - L1 Days
Location: Port Coquitlam, BC
 
The DC Service Supervisor is responsible for ensuring products are slotted for the most efficient picking at the L1 DC. Guide the team to complete all second checks and investigate inventory discrepancies at the same time. Trouble shoot service issues and assign Whse 1 help tickets to the team.
 
What You’ll Do: 
  • Find appropriate locations for new products and/part numbers in warehouse, working with the DC Service Manager, collaborate with & advise on slotting new and existing products based on their physical attributes and movement frequency.
  • Be the lead contact for finding missing items that our customers and stores are asking for.
  • Review the Whse.1 help ticket inbox, assign tickets to the appropriate team members and help respond when time permits.
  • Complete Stock Corrections, Report reoccurring offenses and offenders to Management.
  • Set up Let down Min Maxes for products in home locations with overstock when required.
  • Review Unit of Issue with Inventory Control to ensure we pick the most efficient quantities.
  • Investigate and home over picked items brought to the put-away command centre.
  • Perform daily review of short picks and investigate why they were shorted, report missing product to the Inventory Management Lead to perform cycle counts if the product can’t be found.
  • If shorted product is found ensure it is bin located correctly, product can be identified and organized on the pick shelf.
  • Work with department heads to inform them of any employee performance issues around following procedures.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures giving special attention to ensure safety and health regulations in the warehouse are followed and enforced.
  • Keep current with product knowledge and WMS System.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Standards and Objectives: 
  • Slot products for the most efficient way to pick them by August 31, 2026
  • Have no items without a home location assigned to them by January 30, 2026
  • Ensure min maxes are set up for all products home locations that have overstock by April 1, 2026
  • Respond to Assigned WHSE 1 Help tickets within 24 hours
  • Keep Zero picks under 5% of our total picks
  • Always keep the warehouse safe, organized, and tidy.
What You Bring: 
  • At least 3 years of varied warehouse experience.
  • Must be willing to work as a member of a team and be flexible in undertaking a variety of duties that will contribute to the success of the organization.
  • Must be physically fit, able to lift safely and repeatedly, stack, pull and carry heavy items.
  • Requires the ability to work with basic computer applications.
  • Good math skills and attention to details
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Requires the ability to be extremely organized, multitask, and solve problems.

Pay range is $25.00 - $28.00/hour, based on experience.
