Position: Meat Cutter - Full Time
What you’ll do:
- Provide exceptional service by accurately following product specifications to meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Ensure precise cutting and portion control of various meat products, including special cuts and custom orders
- Conduct regular quality checks on incoming meat, ensuring freshness and adherence to established standards
- Present products in an appealing way, including proper packaging, labeling, and department set-up
- Maintain product quality through rotation, storage, and date checks
- Comply with all health, food safety, and workplace safety standards, including proper handling and cleaning of knives and equipment
- Keep all work areas clean, sanitized, and organized at all times
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a Meat Cutter or in a related role
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of raw materials, product preparation, and quality control standards
- Demonstrated arm-hand steadiness and knife-handling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Commitment to food safety, health, and workplace safety standards
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a Meat Production Facility
- Environment temperatures range between 0-4 degrees
