POSITION PURPOSE
As the LONG Outside Sales Rep you will represent the HVAC Equipment Sales Warehouse, increasing parts sales and providing excellent customer service.  Building and maintaining great relationships with new and existing customers and providing the excellence LONG customers have come to expect will ensure success in this role. 
 
Compensation Range: $55,000 - $65,000 plus potential profit share.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee assigned customers and the development of new target accounts
  • Advise or assist customers in such areas as inventory selection, new parts, and service availability
  • Follow up on orders to ensure that customers are served promptly
  • Plan territory coverage and call upon key accounts (current and prospective) regularly
  • Take parts orders, introduce new products and promotions, and reemphasize existing products and services and provide literature as necessary

  • Previous sales experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Clear speaking and strong listening skills
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to work independently while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiar with HVAC equipment
