Sales Support Specialist

Position Purpose 
The Sales Support Specialist will assist Sales Engineers and Service Account Managers and communicate with internal/external sales personnel, operations team, estimators, customers, and suppliers to support the sales process. This position will work to coordinate sales activities and help the Sales Team function more efficiently and effectively by conducting proposals and estimates for service, managing quotas/agreements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Generate estimates and proposals  
• Manage several agreements and stay up to date on expiration dates and any additions, while also finding solutions to issues in documentation, booking sheets, labor plans, etc. 
• Tracking data such as vendor quotas, sales, and salesperson quotas. 
• Process sales orders and manage customer accounts. 
• Responding to customers’ concerns and questions and providing information on product/service information and any outstanding billings. 
• Communicate with Marketing to ensure the adequacy of sale-related materials and promotional plans.  
• Manage communications (email and phone calls) and route new/existing opportunities to appropriate salespeople. 
• Produce sales reports and maintain sales databases. 
• Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and materials. 
• Requires customer communications and coordination during bidding and booking process. 
• Contribute to local marketing efforts. This includes coordinating and collaborating with the corporate marketing team on all marketing efforts including content creation, campaigns and social media. 
• Other duties as assigned. 
 
Qualifications  
• 2-year business school or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Excellent computer skills, specifically with Microsoft applications. 
• Complete thorough and detailed work with accuracy and consistency. 
• Ability to make decisions, dispose of problems, and complete thoroughly detailed work. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
 
Preferred Qualifications  
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with commercial construction administration

Physical Requirements 
• This position may require lifting to 25 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor.
