Head of Sales Finance and Sales operations - Americas Region - GCO Business

The Role:

The Head of Sales Finance and Sales operations is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Global Commercial organization (GCO) as part of the Americas finance and operations team.  The role, based in Newark, California, will work closely with regional leadership in both North America and Latin America to drive process improvement and data analytics to enable continued growth via improved sales accountability and increased visibility on region and account level performance.

This is a critical leadership role and provides for interaction and visibility within the region as well as the broader GCO. Key areas of focus include Channel Finance, Sales Operations, Sales Targeting, Performance Management & Visualization and Pricing Operations for Retail and B2B.

In this role you will be a key partner to the Region Business Head and Region Finance Head.. You will lead and direct a team of approximately 8-10 people. 

  • Lead a team of data science and visualization analysts and help build robust and automated forward looking analytics to enable continued growth

  • Drive the weekly revenue outlook process

  • Drive alignment with Supply Chain and Category Management on the S&OP process (orders, shipments and channel inventory)

  • Coordinate with data science team to ensure clean master data setup for customers to enable analysis by market, industry vertical and channel 

  • Build and develop a high performance team focusing on key account and channel level performance. Focus will be on customer and channel level planning, P&L management, pricing and promotions.

  • Pricing operations and analytics - price monitoring and alignment to competition, street price, cost changes and changes in fx rates.

  • Drive a streamlined process of quote to order for B2B channels, integrating Salesforce, bid desk and approval workflows in oracle.

  • Sales targeting, commission and performance management

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Sales Operations and Sales Finance experience in Retail / B2B of 10 years+

  • Highly organized with excellent written, verbal, and analytics skills

  • Flexible and adaptable to a changing and dynamic work environment

  • Driver for change and process management

  • Experience in Building and leading a team of 5 years+

Education: MBA in Finance, Sales Operations Management
