The Role:

With a good material background, you will need to co-work with the other colleagues to explore new materials, finish the qualification and drive some implementation to support the company’s sustainability goal. 

And you are passionate about sustainability or eco-friendly as well as new relevant technologies and how these are integrated.

  • Explore sustainable materials locally. The material areas normally include rigid plastic, TPE, metals, textile and etc.

  • Partner with suppliers/team members to assess the feasibility, and do prototyping, testing based on Logitech’s product requirements.

  • Lead some simple techno projects with some support from the program manager.

  • Partner with ME engineer, designer, sourcing to run the full qualification process based on Logitech’s procedure.

  • Partner with suppliers to optimize the formula to get better sustainability performance.

  • Partner with suppliers and X-function teams to solve material issues that happen in the trials.

  • Support new techno solutions implementation to new product project MP by creating design guidelines, sharing the lessons learned and etc.


Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:


  • 3+ years’ experience in the material area(or CMF) or material implementation of high volume consumer electronic products

  • Knowledge and experience in different material areas: rigid plastic, TPE, textile, metal and etc

  • Experience in recycled material or bio-based material is a plus

  • Knowledge and experience in general tools - DFM, FMEA, DOE

  • Self-motivated and capable to work independently

  • Fluent in English in listening, speaking, and writing

  • Multicultural experience is a plus

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally when it is necessary and allows


• Bachelor or master degree in material science
