Embedded System Security Champion
The Embedded System Security Champion is an active member of the Embedded Software team that may help to make decisions about when to engage the Security Team. He/She acts as a core element of the security assurance process within the product.

Guard, develop and promote Security best practices
Conduct Product Security Risk Assessment
Develop new security capabilities within existing and new devices
Conduct and follow security improvement plan
Monitor security state of the products
Investigate bug bounty reports
Perform and/or verify security reviews in the team
Raise security issues to the Product Security Board and management
Scale security through multiple teams, engage “non-security” folks and support the establishment of the security culture.
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
5+ years’ experience in Embedded Software Engineering (C/C++, python ..)
3+ years’ experience in a position with security involvement
Deep knowledge of Security by Design (e.g. STRIDE, ..) , Security Assessment methodologies and Cryptography (PKI, AES, MD5, RSA, ECC … )
Have supported all aspects of device security on at least one commercial device
Understand the tradeoff between security and ease-of-use/support
Demonstrable experience with tailoring the security requirements in support of a device's or company's policies and standards
Experience in Security lifecycle software development, including system design and analysis, requirement capture and development, software implementation and verification, system integration, qualification and releasing
Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical individuals
Be able to technically work with and develop a team of developers who might be geographically distributed.
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
