Logitech is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to contribute to the development of new concepts/techniques and to complete assignments/tasks in innovative and effective ways.  Develop and implement occupational health programs with a focus on ensuring Logitech employees’ well-being complies with Taiwan regulation and Logitech Standards.

The Role:

The Occupational Health Nurse is responsible for the implementation and management of the health and safety goals determined by Global Health and Safety leadership.
You will also be a team player who cultivates relationships with employees and stakeholders. You will be based in the Research & Development and Design Center located at the Asia Pacific headquarters in Hsinchu, Taiwan.  You will be a member of the Global Workplace Services (WPS) team and will report to the Regional Health, Safety & Security Manager.

Logitech Taiwan has about 600 employees in the Hsinchu office, Taipei office, and Taipei co-work space (most employees are based in Hsinchu). The working environment is considered to be a general office and a small hardware lab.  For transportation, there are shuttle bus lines connecting to Taipei City, Hsinchu City, Taiwan High-Speed Rail Station (Hsinchu), and Taichung city.

  • Ensure that overall occupational health activities are conducted in compliance with the legal and Logitech requirements.

  • Plan and implement the prevention of occupational injury and disease through a comprehensive proactive occupational health program.

  • Implement the program for employee health check-ups and manage the related records. 

  • Develop the First Aid process, emergency treatment, and health consultation as well as maintaining the medical supply items (e.g., AED, First Aid Kits).

  • Develop and implement an occupational health program for Taiwan, with the objective to proactively reduce risks and ensure compliance with Taiwan's health and safety laws and regulations.

  • Maintain the records of occupational injury/diseases and assist in the investigation of on-site injuries and incidents.

  • Plan and implement annual health check-ups (include Special Hazardous Working Operation) for new hire health check-ups and monitor the health status of employees. 

  • Identify and evaluate potential health and safety risks at the workplace.

  • Promote employees' healthy lifestyle and well-being through coaching and providing awareness.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on wellness projects.

  • Nursing room management and maintenance.

  • Other matters related to occupational health assigned by the company.

  • Contribute to the WPS team activities supporting Logitech operations as appropriate.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviours to our team:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in working as an occupational health nurse supporting a multinational organisation.

  • Experience of working both independently, and in a team environment

  • Advanced knowledge of nursing techniques, anatomy, occupational medicine, industrial hygiene, and occupational safety

  • Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin (Traditional) fluently.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Service-oriented mindset to provide professional support to the business.

  • Ability to adapt to the changing, fast growth environment in meeting customer expectations.

In addition, preferable skills and behaviours include:

  • General injuries and occupational incident/illness processing

  • Counselling psychologist licence and related experience

  • Willing to travel domestically as needed. Less than 10% travel/month

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent practical experience

  • Registered nurses licence

  • Valid Occupational health nurse licence (completed 52-hours of Occupational Labour Health Service Nursing training)
