Strategic Alliance Manager, Video Collaboration - China

THE ROLE
The Strategic Alliance Manager will play a key role in achieving Logitech’s growth objectives for its Video Collaboration business in China by developing and nurturing strategic alliances with technology partners. The Strategic Alliance Manager will be responsible for identifying new alliance opportunities, establishing the alliances, and executing the go-to-market with the alliance partners to grow the business.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
Develop a deep market understanding and competitive landscape to identify alliance opportunities in China
Assess the market opportunities and create a short-term and long-term strategy that helps achieve the overall business objectives
Establish the alliance business relationship and business models for a healthy and mutually beneficial relationship
For each alliance, develop a strategy encompassing go-to-market, co-engineering, co-marketing and joint sales initiatives with clear goals and an execution plan
In collaboration with the Logitech commercial sales and marketing teams, develop the go-to-market initiatives such as joint marketing, channel offers/promotions, and joint sales pursuit
Be the Subject Matter Expert on the alliance partner’s solutions
Share product roadmap with partners on a regular basis; identify and lead joint innovation opportunities
Develop and implement metrics to measure the success of the joint initiatives and create governance for continued success of the alliance
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience. A minimum of 5 years of combined experience in business development, marketing, product development, or sales roles
Experience with Cloud services market in China
Familiarity with videoconferencing, Unified Communications, and collaboration markets. Experience with video calling solutions from companies such as ByteDance, Alibaba, Tencent, WeChat, Huawei, Microsoft, and Zoom
Experience with co-engineering, co-marketing, or alliances with companies in China
Experience in defining and managing go-to-market initiatives
Experience in working with product and engineering teams
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience with project or program management
Ability to comprehend and become a subject matter expert in the alliance partner’s solutions, their strategy, and product roadmap
QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in Marketing, Business or Engineering, MBA a plus
Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders in a distributed environment
Excellent written and oral communications and interpersonal skills
High energy, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Passion for the technology industry
