The Role:

As Software Quality Assurance Technical Manager, you will be responsible for testing the Logi Tune software for the Headset group. You will perform hands-on testing with wired and wireless headsets. You will collaborate with software development and other QA teams in logitech to define test requirements and schedule. You will work with Headset project teams on firmware and software integration. You will also manage the execution and results of outsourcing testing labs.

  •  Lead software qualification of headset products.

  • Develop test strategy based on the software requirements in the waterfall and Agile development environment.

  • Write test plans, test cases, and perform hands-on testing.

  • Take initiatives to think of various ways to replicate bugs.

  • Keep user experience in mind and set bug priority.

  • Work closely with cross functional teams. Such as, software, firmware, QAs, and product managers.

  • Host bug scrubbing meetings. Manage the outcome of outsourcing testing labs.  

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English

  • Experience in software quality testing and releases.

  • Experience in working in an Agile environment.

  • Strong understanding of software engineering process and development lifecycle.

  • Experience in testing USB and/or wireless device software on Windows and Mac

  • Ability to summarize, report and make release decisions based on test results.

  • Experience in Android and iOS software testing.

  • Experience in JIRA, Zephyr, and Jenkins.

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Experience in software testing of headsets and earbuds.

  • Experience in firmware testing of consumer electronics products.

  • Experience in software automation.

  • Experience in writing, updating, and modifying test scripts/tools using Python.

Education:

  • BS in Computer Science or related technical field

  • 8 years hands on experience in software qualification
