The Role:

As a Junior Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the firmware.

  • Develop firmware for keyboards, mice, and creativity devices.
  • Partner with a cross-functional team of experts in Electrical Engineering, Tracking Technologies, Optical, etc.
  • Integrate 3rd party components into our design.
  • Partner with SW experts for interface design, implementation, and integration.
  • Validate your work, write production code, and automated tests.
  • Participate in innovation programs.
  • Prototype and show your ideas.
  • Engage with colleagues in a multi-site & multicultural environment (US, Switzerland, Taiwan and India).

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • First experience in a firmware engineering role within product development.
  • Knowledgeable in embedded firmware in C/C++ including test and debug.
  • Knowledgeable in ARM firmware development.
  • Practically minded-with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven and autonomous.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Fluent spoken & written English.

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Version control tools: git, svn, cvs etc.
  • Agile development, unit testing, scripting • Experiences in Bluetooth and bidirectional RF Human Interface Device (HID) firmware development.
  • Signal processing experience.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Communication Systems with a firmware engineering experience.
