Scope 

The Senior Logistics Manager is  responsible for developing and overseeing strategies to streamline, automate, and standardize the execution of outbound logistics. You will be part of an open and  collaborative Supply Chain team, partnering across teams to create solutions improving customer experience, improving scalability and sustainability aligned with the business growth strategy for the Asia Pacific region. The position will report to the Head of Global Inbound Logistics. 

 

Key relationships include:

  • Regional Coordination Center (RCC)  to align strategy, capacity, and outbound execution consistent with Logitech's Asia growth plans.

  • Global Procurement category managers to develop sourcing strategies that optimize delivery , spend and availability

  • Global Coordination Center (GCC), and Supply Planning to enable logistics capacity/capability for inbound to regional DC’s and direct to customers.

  • Global Finance to align on/set budget and manage activities to budget 

  • Regional commercial and customer teams to improve future capabilities and deliver continuous improvement plans

Your Responsibilities :

  • Accountable for implementing/managing  AP outbound logistics with internal and external teams

  • Define transformational project(s) within our Modular Supply Chain framework 

  • Working with outsourced partners to develop the RCC, aligning strategy,  vision and priorities.

  • Owns the logistics process, engaging with customer services and third party providers to develop end to end solutions

  • Champion continuous improvement projects, with the RCC to develop and execute a roadmap  

  • Lead the development of the digital transformation plan for  supply chain logistics visibility.

  • Assess and improve performance standards to enhance customer experience 

  • Utilise, develop and embed the use of key tools (RACI, business rules, monthly review templates, revenue forecast, issue capture, CIP, etc) 

  • Participate as an active member of the Supply Chain team providing recommendations, leadership, and support to the Operations teams.

  • Develop sustainable solutions supporting the sustainability team to reduce carbon emissions 

  • Support Global Trade Compliance initiatives as requested, to support the business plans.

  • Accountable for the monitoring and management of the 3rd Party Logistics providers performance 

  • Understand, escalate and mitigate outbound logistics risks and constraints

  • Develop a framework to gather market insights for best practices to develop outside in thinking/ initiatives.

  • Drive Continuous improvements initiatives through monthly and quarterly business reviews 

 

Key Qualifications;

  • Degree in Business, Science / Engineering, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering required

  • At least 5 years Supply Chain Operations (preferably Logistics)  experience required,

  • Experienced at building external Supplier Business Relationships required.

  • Mandarin is essential and Japanese is an advantage 

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with other functional groups to achieve business objectives 

  • Lean six sigma and leading projects / transformational change in Asia is required

  • Excellent communication skills - Oral, written and formal presentation skills with senior management, middle management and line staff

  • An innovation mindset. Be willing to always try new things, make bets, and take calculated risks.

  • Experience with S&OP, Scheduling, Inventory Analysis and Management, is preferable
