Firmware Engineer II
As part of an International Product Development team, you will
Define software architecture on an Embedded Linux platform with respect to functionality, performance, quality and schedule.
Develop the software architecture matched with ARM based hardware platforms and contribute to selection of an optimal hardware platform.
Work with Product Management and Product Engineering teams to define the product contours and development phases for 'Harmony' Range of Home Automation Control products and solutions.
Work with teams to develop BSP’s, various device drivers, porting WiFi, BlueTooth, ZigBee and other RF protocol stacks on the required platforms(ARM, MIPS), middleware and application stacks of Harmony Range of products.
Optimise system performance and memory for low footprint embedded Linux based products.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
3-8 yrs of experience in embedded software development
Experience in C/C++ programming and any scripting language
Experience in embedded software development for ARM / MIPS platform
Strong debugging skills, all the way from application layer to low level device drivers and hardware.
Experience in firmware development for microcontrollers
Expertise in board bring up, Kernel and device drivers
Excellent Knowledge in Bluetooth Classic, BT LE with experience in various GATT profiles like (Hid Over GATT)
Excellent knowledge of IEEE 802.11 (b/g/n/ac) WLAN protocol and standards.
Experience with audio codec standards such as Mp3, Mp4, AAC, etc
Experience in Power management and Memory management
