Position at Logitech

Logitech is seeking a Head of Communications to join the Global Video Collaboration (VC) Commercial (GVCC) organization. Reporting to the Logitech CMO, this team member will develop an internal and external communication strategy for the VC Commercial organization. This will include working in close partnership with the Global Brand/Marketing team (GBE), Video Collaboration Business Group (VCBG) and Global Commercial Organization (GCO) teams on strategy and execution planning. The top priority will be driving the development of a cohesive and global Logitech B2B narrative with a strong focus on the VC market but also inclusive of the broader B2B portfolio which helps assert Logitech’s unique differentiation in the market while capitalizing on current market trends and enterprise buying behavior. This individual will also develop execution strategies for voicing / activating the narrative through all of our existing channels including public and analyst relations, social media, thought leadership, digital media, campaigns and events.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned communications leader with B2B technology expertise in hardware, software, and/or services – into Fortune 500 and key enterprise customers. She/he/they must also be an outstanding leader and influencer; capable of leading indirect and cross-functional global teams to develop and execute the global communications strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Create communications policies and procedures, strategy, vision, and leadership for GVCC.

  • Develop and implement an integrated strategic communications plan to increase the commercial enterprise presence of Logitech’s VC brand in partnership with the cross-functional teams outlined above.

  • Broaden awareness of GVCC programs and priorities; and increase the visibility of its programs across key stakeholder audiences, both internally and externally.

  • Create a cohesive GVCC social media strategy to ensure targeted, high-level external audience awareness of Logitech’s enterprise presence.

  • Identify key secular trends, in partnership with field sales and channels leadership, that require active insertion of GVCC thought leadership.

  • Collaborate with the broader GVCC Marketing team to create market relevant customer and partner stories that feature how Logitech’s VC commercial teams have helped our customers address these challenges with Logitech’s products, services and software.

  • Oversee the development of all GVCC insertions into the broader Logitech annual report, marketing collateral and electronic communications including the Logitech website.

  • Serve as a spokesperson and lead point person for GVCC with Logitech’s GBE team.

  • Exercise judgment to prioritize event placement and positioning, and prepare talking points, speeches, presentations and other supporting material as needed.

  • Senior marketing and/or public relations management experience with enterprise hardware + software, cloud, video collaboration and/or UC&C solutions into Fortune 500 and/or government institutions globally.

  • Experience managing culturally and geographically diverse teams around the globe. Direct experience leading teams in Logitech sales regions (AMR, EMEA, AP).

  • Experience working with managed service providers, channels, integrators and VARs.  A plus having worked with VC managed service providers.

  • Track record of goal achievements in an intense, fast-paced, rapidly changing and results-oriented environment.

  • Experience driving hyper-growth businesses that position technology to solve the most critical challenges enterprise customers face.

  • Experience in designing and implementing communications strategies for new enterprise/B2B ventures.

  • Demonstrated experience and leadership in managing a comprehensive strategic communication, media relations, and/or marketing program to advance an organization’s mission and goals.

  • Creative and thoughtful on how thought leadership can be positioned in the market.

  • Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output.

  • Experience in building, mentoring, and coaching a team of communications specialists.

  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

  • Superior management skills and ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.

  • Executive maturity as a self-reliant, good problem solver who is results oriented.

  • Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field is required, an advanced degree is preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior management role either in-house or with an agency.

  • Extensive successful writing and editing experience (externally focused) with a variety of digital and print communications media.
