Senior Legal Counsel

Logitech is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our legal team based at our Silicon Valley Campus in Newark (CA).  

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Be the primary legal point of contact for our North America and Latin America commercial regions and our Global Marketing Organization;

  • Partner with the business to proactively identify legal issues and develop creative solutions to help achieve business objectives;

  • Review, draft, negotiate, and advise on a variety of sales and marketing agreements 

  • Review advertising and marketing materials to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies;

  • Develop and deliver training to our business partners on key topics ; 

  • Deliver excellent legal partnership through strong communication and proactive business engagement

  • Closely collaborate with other members of the Global Commercial Organization legal team based in Lausanne, Hong Kong and Shanghai as well as with other members of the Worldwide legal team

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of relevant in-house and/or law firm experience working on commercial matters in North and Latin America;

  • Extensive experience structuring, drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements

  • Strong experience with sales and marketing issues in the B2C and B2B space both on-line and off-line;

  • Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, creativity and adaptability;

  • Enjoys working across functions and providing leadership to drive deals to closure;

  • Highly motivated and independent, but also a strong team player;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a relationship builder;

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex issues and concepts in straightforward, laymen terms;

  • Attention to detail, high quality work product and the ability to efficiently manage multiple matters is a must;

  • Enjoys continuous learning;

  • Law degree from a reputable law school, and Bar admission in good standing in applicable state;

  • Experience working internationally a big plus

  • Spanish/ Portuguese language skills would be appreciated
