Logitech, a world leader in digital experience products located in Newark, CA is currently seeking a Sr Finance Manager to become part of a Regional Sales and Marketing Finance team. The candidate will report to the Head of Americas Sales and Marketing Finance, this is a critical role in the finance team as it is the key business partner to the Head of Sales and Marketing and the sales organization at large.  This role has overall responsibilities in planning forecasting and reporting for the Americas region a .2B business while being the key person to providing decision making support. The role will be crucial to understanding the changing dynamics in the retail marketplace, provide broad exposure to multiple functions across internal organizations and will ensure that the region achieves Logitech’s objective of driving profitable growth.

 

The candidate must be detail oriented, ambitious self-starter with strong communications skills. The candidate must be naturally inquisitive with the consistent desire to improve the tasks assigned to them and drive better decision making within the business while building a strong team

·         Proactively drive Logitech’s financial quarterly and strategic objectives

·         Build deep business partner relationships within the business management team

·         Own the development and maintenance of reporting/tracking for the Sales teams to provide appropriate visibility and establish accountability for achieving goals

·         Provide ongoing analytical support to management including preparing budgets and forecasts, and supporting the portfolio review, strategic planning, and budget processes

·         Collaborate with senior members of the FP&A team to manage the annual planning calendar involving in-depth coordination of strategic plan, budget and forecasts. 

·         Drive process improvement including modifications to Financial tools

·         Understand and communicate financial results and trends to business management and make recommendations

·         Drive continuous analysis and develop insights that improve the quality of decision making within the management team

·         Collaborate across financial functions to ensure regional compliance of controls

·         Manage a team and drive a high-performance culture

 

 

Skills and Qualifications

·         Bachelor or Equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; MBA preferred

·         10 years of progressive development in Finance and Accounting roles including experience with Sales finance

·         Excellent analytical and business support skills

·         Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, pay close attention to detail with an action-oriented mindset that achieves swift execution

·         Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines

·         Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and written

·         Proficiency in Essbase and Oracle applications preferable; understand database relationship structure

·         Ability to question effectively and solve complex problems

·         Self motivated individual with the highest degree of ethics
