eCommerce Merchandising Manager, Direct to Consumer
The eCommerce Marketing Manager position is responsible for Logitech’s Direct to Consumer (DTC) business in the United States and Canada and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue to all DTC brand channels/websites including Logitech, Logitech G, Astro Gaming, Ultimate Ears, and Blue Microphones.
The primary responsibility will be to fully understand and manage existing sources of revenue to the e-commerce brand channels and to implement ROI based programs to increase sales to meet growth goals. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering revenue growth through proven ROI positive programs, the creation of unique offerings and value-added promotions.
This position will work cross-functionally across the organization to drive the creation and optimization of a unique online assortment and execute related marketing activities to ensure we nurture and grow our DTC channels. This will require close collaboration, influence, and joint development with the Business Groups, Global Brand Equity (GBE) and America’s Regional Trade and Channel Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Ability to understand the revenue makeup of the DTC channel and historical “comps” that will need to be accounted for in building the revenue & growth plan.
Create, manage and drive a seasonal roadmap of unique offerings, bundles, and value-added promotions that will drive sales to our DTC e-commerce channel.
Work closely with Third Parties, Business Groups, GBE, Supply Chain and others to bring the unique and value-add assortment to life
Ability to forecast and to identify product offerings and assortments that bring unique offerings and value add to the targeted customers. Incorporate supply chain and inventory management strategies into overall planning.
Implement data-driven site merchandising strategies, work closely with the Web Experience team within GBE to refine category hierarchy based on insights.
Strong understanding of marketing programs, tools and capabilities that can be leveraged to increase awareness of the unique assortment offered and ability to forecast the associated revenue including but not limited to digital paid media, affiliate marketing, SEM.
Strong analytical skills and situational awareness with a proven ability to report insights as well as track ROI of related offerings and/or marketing programs.
Drive and manage strategic pivots during campaigns to meet campaign goals.
In conjunction with GBE, plan Seasonal and cross-site campaigns. Provide analytics-based insights on campaign concepts, wireframes, click streams and site content placement priorities to drive conversion to meet business goals.
Provide “Actual vs. Plan” analysis of financial KPIs per campaign and leverage insights to improve future campaigns.
Partner with GBE on the development of programs that nurture online relationships to encourage cross-sell and up-sell across portfolios within and across brands.
Monitor e-commerce and retail trends and best practices.
The candidate for this role should have a demonstrated background in e-commerce program creation and online /digital marketing. Also, a proven ability to drive impactful and measurable digital marketing programs that generate revenue growth.
Strong understanding of digital marketing across all demand generation mediums from digital search, programmatic media, endemic media, direct marketing and consumer marketing vehicles, and related tracking mechanisms.
Business acumen to relate how business objectives can be achieved.
Analytical and enjoy digging into the details (including top and bottom-line sales results, conversion, engagement, etc.). Ability to understand and analyze performance and to provide clear recommendations to improve results.
Partner with GBE to provide recommendations on how to drive traffic and funnel conversion.
Tenacity and enthusiasm for relentless incrementalism to drive ongoing improvements
Ability and desire to own a program and its results from start to finish. To provide analysis to evaluate results and create an action plan to improve the program and to seek best practices.
Develop operational plans for the execution of campaigns, site merchandising, and campaign activation, in partnership with the Business Groups and GBE.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Develop a close relationship with all stakeholders and contributors across the company to help drive unique programs and product offerings on DTC channels.
Piecing together multiple categories, ideologies and business objectives can be challenging. Need the ability to work in a matrix organization, influence and drive success among various contributors during the planning and development of a campaign, plan or roadmap. You will be required to engage across various teams and functional areas to drive results.
Communicate in a clear and concise manner (both verbal and written) that is appropriate for the initiative and audience from associate to executive. Take responsibility for ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed.
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
4-6 years of experience with online product merchandising.
4+ years of retail experience: strong understanding of retail business tactics in both the regular price and promotional spaces.
Understanding of digital channels, tools, and commerce platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A quick learner, adaptable to new technologies and environments.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong proficiency in business applications, experience in web analytics a plus
In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:
Interest in technology, consumer technology or consumer electronics.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, or a related degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
