Consumer Insights Evangelist (Senior Manager)

This position is ideally based in Newark California, but we are willing to consider applicants based in other locations in the US or Europe.

The Consumer Insights (CI) Organization

The Consumer Insights team works as part of Logitech’s Design group supporting the creation of new and innovative products from inception to launch. 

We are a team of 20+ professionals spread throughout the world. Most of our positions are based in Lausanne, Switzerland; Shanghai, China and Newark, California. As a full service insights team, we provide qualitative, quantitative and strategic support for our business, marketing and design partners.

This Role

This is a newly created role. You will be an essential part of the CI global team, ensuring that the work we do, the information we mine, and the insights we create are driven deep and wide throughout the company.

You will be part of the CI team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Consumer Insights, based in Switzerland. Your primary business partners will be the rest of the CI team,  and the Global Communications team and will work with stakeholders across the company in Design, Marketing, Business Groups, and the Commercial Sales organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to elevate the CI team’s unique insights to Logitech employees through the development and management of a monthly communications campaign including the creation of video updates, newsletters, blog posts, etc.

  • Design, build and manage a platform for self-service information sharing with anyone at Logitech

  • Find and drive new mechanisms that inform, inspire and encourage engagement with the CI team throughout Logitech

  • Manage the CI team web pages on our employee intranet

  • Measure and report awareness levels of CI within the company

  • Collaboration building with Logitech’s global communications team

Qualifications:

  • 8+yrs experience in consumer and/or user research, ideally with experience in the tech industry

  • 4+ yrs experience in communications, PR

  • Proven experience in using internal CMS platforms

  • Competent and confident in creating video content

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent skills in written and spoken English.

  • Confident presenter with proven ability to deliver powerful, simple messages

  • Open and willing to travel to our different Logitech offices to build strong relationships with business partners once travel restrictions open up

  • A global citizen and professional - proven experience in dealing with globally diverse stakeholders, and research across the world
