Logitech’s Community & Advocacy team is responsible for the vision and strategic plan for the company’s social impact and connecting Logitech’s internal communities to wider external communities and the causes they care about. As part of this team, the community relations leader will work with a network of site and program leaders around the world to nourish our internal communities and drive the company’s philanthropy and community relations efforts globally while also executing on them in the U.S.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help facilitate the philanthropic programs aligned to the Sustainability and Community & Advocacy teams’ goals and objectives. Programs include but are not limited to community and skills-based volunteering, donations matching, product donations and disaster relief.

  • Vet and build working relationships with nonprofit organizations and corporate partners who are making a difference in the lives of people in the communities we touch. Serve as a brand ambassador for the company at community events.

  • Support the creation of Logitech’s global community- and skills-based volunteering programs and policies, helping build an environment where contributing to meaningful causes is built into their experience at Logitech. 

  • Responsible for the worldwide organization and reporting of Logitech’s annual employee volunteer program. Identify, manage and participate in local employee volunteer events. 

  • Manage Logitech’s product donations program, includes the evaluation of and fulfillment of product requests.

  • Facilitate the company’s disaster relief activities, including internal coordination and approval, budget oversight, and communications efforts.

  • Continually learn, collaborate and share best practices with the immediate team and the broader organization.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the community relations program including promoting, managing, tracking and reporting on the company’s giving and volunteering activities. Identify, evaluate and manage tools and systems that help to streamline the management and reporting of these programs.

  • Ensure programs are strategically aligned to the Community & Advocacy program vision, purpose and goals.

  • Provide support for additional Community & Advocacy programs spanning Diversity & Inclusion, Community Learning and more.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A natural passion for people and contributing to great causes that make a difference in the communities we live and work. Staying up-to-date on trends and what’s happening in society comes naturally.

  • The strong  interpersonal skills and enthusiasm needed to get employees excited to lead and participate in volunteer opportunities and and get involved  with the community relations programs. 

  • Expertise in developing and maintaining productive working relationships with employees at all levels, volunteers and nonprofit organizations 

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams throughout the company such as Communications, Marketing, Business Groups, Site Leaders, Finance and Legal 

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 5 years experience in a corporate environment in HR, communications, project or program management with demonstrated work in corporate volunteering, corporate giving, community affairs, community engagement, or community outreach for a global company.
