 We are looking for a Community Communications Manager whose creativity and communications skills will help support the Marketing function as it undergoes a transformational journey and our award-winning Design function.

As the Community Communications Manager, you will lead Logitech’s community building across the Global Marketing and Communications organization and across those who interact with the broader marketing community. You will lead or support marketing leaders with the development and delivery of high-quality internal communications strategies, campaigns, social engagement, plans and creative content - grabbing the marketing communities attention to inspire them to as the global marketing function builds and evolves.  

As the stories flourish internally, the position will also help support extending the message to external audiences with speaking, media and social content development support and coordination. This role will help define and lead the communications strategy for the CMO including, further developing and refining the CMO’s internal and external messaging platform including a focus on equality and inclusivity.
 

 This position is based in Lausanne Switzerland (remote will also be considered) and reports to the Head of Corporate and Employee Communications; working directly with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief Design Officer (CDO). This person will be supported by an integrated team of public and influencer relations, social media, employee communications and more. 

This candidate must be an excellent communicator and writer, be self-directed, manage multiple priorities concurrently and have the ability to forge strong relationships with senior leaders.  Knowledge of change management communications and executive communications experience working is required. It is also preferred that this candidate brings a creative approach with strong project management skills in addition to their established experience in story development, script writing, and content creation.    


 

In this role you will:

  •  Drive a strategic global employee communications program for Logitech’s Global Marketing and Communications community.

  • Work hands-on with the CMO and CDO to plan, write, edit, and distribute a variety of global employee-focused communication materials, intranet content and campaigns focused on change management and transformational efforts. 

  • Partner with the CMO and CDO to develop internal messaging and presentations for employee all-hands, key initiatives, industry issues, and other topics.

  • Develop messaging that externally extends the marketing narrative as well as company values of environment and equality by supporting leadership on a variety of activities including media briefings, industry speaking opportunities, blogs, and more. Create thought leadership angles for pitches, contributed articles and more.

  • Establish and track metrics that show the impact of external and employee communications on employee engagement, productivity, and organization performance.

  • Be expected to innovate, create and challenge to continue to build and enhance the team.

  • Leverage social media strategy and execution to expand the external messaging. 

The successful candidate:

  • You are a driven, proactive individual that has a passion for driving change and connecting all stakeholders (employees, customers and industry) with compelling storytelling.

  • Proven success developing and executing strategic employee and external communications across a variety of channels.

  • Experience with change management and communicating key initiatives across multiple internal target audiences.

  • Outstanding writing and editing skills; ability to write for a broad spectrum of multimedia communications channels.

  • Are a digital native with capability to leverage digital tools to drive communication strategy

  • Ability to develop presentations that are engaging and compelling to all audiences

  • Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise messaging; ability to write in a simple, direct, warm and friendly tone.

  • Established track record collaborating with and proactively supporting senior leaders on communications strategies and best practices; client service mindset and consultative approach is a must.

  • You are detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt quickly to the fast pace of the business, and love to have fun while getting the job done. 

  • You thrive in a collaborative environment, and can also work independently. 

Experience and education:

  • 6+ years in working in corporate communications and marketing, including executive and employee communications experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-tech company.
