This role is in Creativity & Productivity (C&P), the biggest division of Logitech, consisting of the technologies--wireless protocols, devices, software applications--that help people be at their creative and productive best while using their computer setup for work or leisure, in the office or at home. Our C&P business is a key pillar of Logitech’s future as a global brand known for great design and exceptional user experiences.
A critical component to exceptional user experiences is software applications that enable people to do unexpected things with their wireless devices. Change what mouse controls do when editing video or analyzing data in spreadsheets. Easily prevent embarrassment while in a video conference meeting. Software will drive our innovation to better help people create, communicate, learn and work. Yet, today our software applications are utilized mostly by more advanced users. It’s like their secret (and ours) weapon--we want the world to know!
Speaking of work, according to leading analysts we surpassed 1 billion knowledge workers (of 7.75 billion people) globally--people who “think” for a living and do most of their work on computers. That means Logitech software will increasingly help organizations help their people work productively with good wellbeing and secure corporate data/systems.
That is why we have an opportunity to elevate our software application marketing. We want to ensure that millions of Logitech customers are excited to fully optimize what their Logitech products can do for them when they use our application software.
Therefore, we created this new role to bring to the software product management team a marketing and communications partner. Success will be measured in awareness/consideration, perceptions, downloads, lead/trial/conversion generation, usage behaviors, customer base penetration. We need a marketing leader who can get us there.

Our software apps range from hosted web experiences to host computer downloads. This role will define the global software marketing and communications strategy throughout software apps’ product lifecycle from beta to end of life.
Strategic communication foundation. Prioritize target audiences, work with product management to refine value propositions and positioning, develop product name briefs, drive messaging development.
Go-to-market communications strategy. Prioritize target audiences, markets, comms channels to create an investment plan and go-to-market direction/guidance for the commercial organizations.
Creative & content development. Own the creative brief through approval then manage development of creative and content assets to be used on packaging, for sales enablement, on Logitech.com and eTail sites, in awareness and/or demand generation campaigns, in events and more based on the go-to-market communications strategy.
Marketing toolkits. Deliver comprehensive marketing toolkits to the commercial organizations including business rationale, data, insights, strategies, creative and content assets for the commercial organizations to activate and execute around the globe.
For this role there will be guidance, support and collaboration but no proven playbook. Therefore, the person who would thrive in this role most likely has experience initiating and/or growing software businesses from within larger organizations or as start-ups. Further, while this role is foremost focused on marketing communications, due to its dependence on other research & analysis, product management, business development and other functions, a career consisting of varying types of marketing roles will be valued.
Minimum 8 years’ directly relevant experience ideally consisting of a combination of software marketing communications, product marketing, and/or product management.
Demonstrably career progression from individual contributor to manager in a global software marketing and communications or software product marketing role.
Demonstrated hands-on experience driving marketing success measured by the metrics cited above including, but not limited to: awareness/consideration, downloads, lead/trial/conversion generation, usage behaviors, customer base penetration.
Creative and critical thinker, able to align people around the company, around the globe on a vision without glossing over the details.
A self-starter, good interpersonal communication skills, ready to roll-up their sleeves.
Comfortable using G-Suite (Google slides, Docs, Spreadsheets).
B2B marketing and technology category experience a plus.
Fluent (written and spoken) in English.
BA/BS in Marketing, Business or Engineering
