Position: Lead Engineer, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering(AME)
Location: Suzhou, China
Brief of the position:
A lead engineer in the AME team to pursue manufacturing technologies excellence, focus on driving the fundamental manufacturing technologies robustness and explore new technologies to delight our product design needs.

You play a tactical role, which provides a marked contribution to our AME projects.
Your identity will directly link with design-based manufacturing design and development, which will continuously contribute to Logitech’s innovation identity.

Responsible
Identify and manage the manufacturing NuDs(new, unique & difficult) to ensure NPI project success;
Conceive and explore new manufacturing technology development as per Logitech products roadmap and portfolio;
Identify the problems and significantly improve, change, or adapt to existing mechanical manufacturing processes and techniques;
Ensure your own AME project goals, quality, and milestones.
Lead manufacturing technologies evaluation, improvement, and evolvement of suppliers;
Provide technical guidance to the mechanical engineering team.
Build relationships with partners and stakeholders to raise up Logitech manufacturing capability bar.
Qualifications
Hard Skills
A minimum of 3 years of experience with a technical leader role in a new or evolved organization of international companies, which brings you a strong background in scouting, and developing new manufacturing technology;
Immersed in manufacturing technologies exploration and development for product needs in high volume Consumer Electronic or Auto industry;
Have detailed knowledge of mechanical manufacturing technologies design, development, and management; including injection mold, plastic molding, metal stamping, CNC machining, and die casting;
Ability to integrate expertise systemically to guide, interpret, and coach others;
Strong interpersonal skills with partners and stakeholders;
Organized, process, detail-oriented, and results-driven;
Communicate with global teams in English fluently.

Education: BS / MS in Mechanical or Manufacturing related, plus project management or leadership education
Travel: 20% around domestic and abroad
