Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Motor and Motor Drive Development Engineer to join our team in Lausanne, Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the conceptual design, development, and qualification of high-performance motors and motor drives for our G simulation products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the conceptual design, development, and qualification of high-performance motors and motor drives for G simulation products.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of motors and drives into the overall simulation system.

• Conduct extensive testing and validation to ensure the motors and drives meet stringent performance and reliability requirements.

• Generate intellectual property (IP) through the development of novel motor control algorithms and drive topologies.

• Implement advanced control techniques to improve the responsiveness, accuracy, and stability of the simulation system.

• Develop user-friendly software interfaces to enhance the overall user experience.

• Contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies for simulation products at our Lausanne headquarters.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, scientists, and technicians from various disciplines.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and ideation workshops to generate innovative solutions for our simulation line-up.

• Actively seek out opportunities to learn from colleagues and contribute to the team's success.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in the design, development, and testing of electric motors and drives.

• Strong understanding of motor control theory, power electronics, and simulation technologies.

• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• French language skills are a plus.
