Head of Design
Logitech is looking for a Head of Design to drive and deliver the design of our China-First systems of products. This design leader will be based in China and will be responsible for working closely with the China-First business and engineering teams to identify key product opportunities and partnerships as well as oversee the day-to-day design of new products.
To deliver on this mission this role will work with Logitech design leadership to create and staff a new multi-disciplinary design studio in China, lead and participate in the creation and delivery of design deliverables with internal designers and external agencies, expand user research and target audience development, and oversee the creation of a user-first design innovation organization.
Developing and defining target audience needs for Studio-Series and China-First projects including the socialization, leadership and participation in the research, ideation, and explorations needed to arrive at this understanding.
Integrating the target audience -- and advocating for them on their behalf-- in all points of the product experience design process to ensure all product experiences meet user needs and expectations.
Leveraging familiarity with China product ecosystem and experience in partnership with major local platforms (Alibaba, Tencent, Xiaomi...).
Driving iterative design processes and activities to ensure world-class outcomes happen quickly -- even where we know the least.
Collaborating with the China-First team and Logitech design leadership to develop internal and external design talent for China-First programs.
Producing the right design deliverables at the right time to collaborators and stakeholders to drive fast execution on holistic product experiences -- and enable pivots when required.
Supporting processes, people and projects needed to develop a world-class design studio in China.

You thrive in a culture of fast iterations and user explorations and are a champion of prototyping. You have a strong network of designers in China and are very familiar with how products are ideated, designed, tested and deployed in China.

Experience leading design for smart consumer electronic products
Background in user centered design and proven track record on leveraging the UCD process to imagine, iterate and qualify great product experiences
Proven track record on delivering critical design support for the successful launch of new user, market, or functional offerings
Fluency in agile and iterative design and development methodologies
Experience leveraging quantitative and qualitative quality metrics to measure product acceptability and desirability as well as the processes by which to develop, maintain and leverage them
Demonstrable portfolio of products for which you led the end-to-end product design lifecycle
Excellent negotiation and collaboration skills
Experience designing or partnering with the design of platforms used for key product experiences
Familiarity with China product ecosystem and experience in partnership with major local platforms (Alibaba, Tencent, Xiaomi...)
Fluency in English and Mandarin
