Participate in ensuring service availability around the clock by monitoring business-critical services, responding to incidents and support requests, providing status updates to internal and external customers.
Keep infrastructure documentation current, including application to infrastructure mapping and asset relationships and dependencies.
Contribute to capturing business context information (i.e., SLA's, business outage tolerances, etc.) and develop plans to satisfy these requirements
Update the disaster recovery strategy, plan, sequencing, dependencies, timeline, and fallback strategies based on the association of physical and logical assets which support the Client's business functions.
Develop and implement automation tools to support CI/CD methodologies, and improve and maintain dev, test, and production pipelines
Help to ensure that cloud resources (e.g. AWS services) are provisioned according to security best practices, and configured to properly scale
Suggest and recommend infrastructure enhancements to improve application performance, security and resiliency
Contribute to deploy applications or application changes in production
Improve and maintain tools for logging, monitoring, alerting and operational metric dashboarding
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
Minimum 4 years experience as a Cloud systems admin and 2 years in a DevOps environment
Experience with CI/CD philosophy and tools (jenkins, github, …) for cloud services.
Basic understanding of multiple development platforms, languages and technologies
Experience in infrastructure and architecture designs for cloud environments.
Excellent problem solving skills, as well as skills in use of monitoring software.
You should be experienced with cloud services development projects.
Knowledge of software development life cycles, including design, analysis, testing and implementation.
Keep yourself up-to-date on latest industry trends, and are able to propose enhancements to existing infrastructures

Desired Technical Skills
Experience with AWS services, other cloud services a plus
Familiarity with OAuth2, encryption, SSL/TLS.
Strong experience with Linux systems
Experience building fault tolerant distributed systems.
Experience with container deployment (Kubernetes, CoreOS, Docker,...)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Terraform or AWS Cloudformation
Experience with implementing security and privacy best practices.
Presentation skills a plus
BS/MS in Computer Science /Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
