Circularity Program Manager
This role will be based within Logitech’s global Sustainability Team. A key part of the role involves collaboration with teams and thought leaders across Logitech and outside Logitech, to identify and support circularity opportunities and develop a program of work to support our transition to circularity.
We want to make sustainability pervasive across all our activities, as a reflection of our culture. Teams all across Logitech are working to reimagine how we source, manufacture, distribute and recover - to positively improve the carbon, circularity and social impact of our products and operations. Considering the multitude of diverse activities and projects already underway, Logitech’s global Sustainability team is looking to hire a program manager, to support and evolve a wide variety of circularity initiatives across Logitech and drive thought leadership and adoption of good practice standards.

Undertake landscape reviews to understand and benchmark our current approach and strategy relative to best practice norms and evolving expectations for circular business models, services and products.
Develop cross-sectoral partnerships with thought leadership groups to fast-track partnerships for change. Identify relevant industry groups and other networks, which Logitech can be part of, to fast-track our sector’s transition to circularity.
Identify R&D, academic partnership opportunities and associated funding opportunities linked to global circularity programs, where available.
Manage or coordinate external partnerships and relationships with specialist consultants, advisors and business initiatives for circularity.
Understand external capabilities and megatrends associated with Circularity and form strategic proposals and plans for Logitech adoption. Keep Logitech current and relevant in the fast moving Circularity arena
Develop and drive the adoption of quantitative and qualitative metrics and targets to define and enable measurement of circularity ,to inform decision-making and prioritization of potential projects and proposals.
Partner with our legal team to identify legal issues, challenges and risks relevant to enabling circularity.
Support the work of our Design for Sustainability team and the evolution of our Product Circularity Tool and repair and recyclability projects. Empower product teams to understand and deliver more circular designs for new product introductions.
Partner with our Logistics and Distribution team to support and evolve pilot programs to reverse normal logistical pathways and enable the recovery of materials, components and products for reuse and resale.
Evolve and enable external reporting of our circularity activities and programs as part of annual Sustainability Reporting and investor reporting.
Develop strategies and targets for sourcing of circular materials including post-consumer recycled plastic and other materials.
Contribute insights to support the development our existing product management platforms (Agile, PLM) to capture product attributes relevant to circularity and enable data mining and data-informed decision-making
Work with colleagues in Consumer Insights and Data Insights to understand consumer perceptions of circularity and find ways to raise awareness and positively influence consumers and purchasing decisions.
Define areas of research and further investigation for our Sustainability Data and Insights team, to deliver key insights on the end of life segment of product life cycles and create actionable plans, leveraging the findings of our LCA studies.
For this role, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
Experience in the fast-moving consumer products sector or supporting that sector in a consulting role.
Understanding and experience in the area of sustainability, circularity, logistics or distribution chain aspects
Experience with cross-functional working groups, task forces and other mechanisms of inclusive collaboration. Ability to bring people together around a common goal and lead by influence;
Program management expertise and experience including scheduling, delegation, collaboration and management of both projects and project teams;
Ability to think both strategically and tactically - collating and analyzing data from a wide variety of sources to develop strategy and inform decision-making;
Strong communication and influencing skills, including writing and presentation skills; and
Experience or a flare for data visualization and copy-writing, for public reporting and carbon visualizations would also be advantageous.
