As an Innovation Project Manager, you will drive teams to identify, prototype and test new experiences for our customers.

The Role:

Technical Project Manager is responsible for :

  • Supporting the innovation pipeline by defining new experiences and driving the development of key technologies enabling those new user experiences.

  • Managing & Leading New Product Introduction (NPI) from early phase product definition to launch in Mass Production (MP).

  •  Initiate and drive regular cross functional discussions & co-creation sessions  with Design / Marketing and Engineering : 

    • to identify key experiences for the future gaming products 

    • to explore, define and evaluate technical solutions or technologies

    • to build a strategic roadmap of needed technologies

  • Scope, plan, budget and follow up the development of new technologies based on the technology roadmap

  • Participate to portfolio discussions and support the next 2 years NPI roadmap and advise for the readiness and benefit of cooked technologies

  • Manage and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) development through the product life cycle process from concept to product delivery - apply project management best practice.

  • Collaborate with Portfolio / Product Design Manager / Engineering to develop project scope and to define project plan.

  • Establish & manage product and project Cost, Schedule, and eXperience (aka C2SX).

  • Lead and staff a project team - multi-functions and multi-sites (worldwide)

  • Manage product Build of Material (BOM) and key project / product documentation.

  • Stakeholder Management : Report and communicate on a regular basis. Escalate when project goals are at risk. This includes regular reporting of project status to key stakeholders, Business Group (BG) directors through management review meetings and Gate meetings as prescribed by internal development processes

  • Risk Management : Identify, evaluate and escalate the risks associated with project activities and take appropriate actions to control the risks and to drive solutions.

  • Synthesize data and information related to scope or risks change.

  • Collaborate with Functional Manager to improve project organization, efficiency (tools, processes) and time to market.

  • Ensure that project activities operate within the policies and processes of the organization.  

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager with involvement from initial concept through product delivery of high-volume consumer electronic products.

  • Experience in driving cross function co-creation session.

  • Clear demonstration of strong Technical Skills and systems thinking.

  • Design Thinking knowledge and application. Creative mindset.

  • Excellent knowledge of Project Management Standards & Methodology from project concepts stage to full development - stable manufacturing.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. French as a plus. 

  • Outstanding communication skills - Stakeholders, X-site development teams, X-functional Teams including marketing and business interfaces.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across organizations and geographies, and interact, influence and negotiate effectively.

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple activities.

  • Independent and critical thinking with analytical skills.

  • Good understanding of working with functional teams in the Global Environment.

  • Ability to travel - Domestic on a regular basis and Intercontinental based on project events.

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Formal Project Management training and Certification (PMP) would be a plus

  • Innovation Management certification would be a plus. 

Education:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or Design
