Position at Logitech

The Role:

The Product Safety engineer will be an integral part of the Global Hardware compliance team at Logitech.  You will be responsible for providing design guidance on NPI projects, defining product safety requirements for different product types and developening pre-test plans  .  The areas of focus will be Product Safety, and Energy efficiency. You will be part of a team of experts which supports the Global Market Access and International certification team internal to Logitech.

  • Develop Pre-test plan templates for Product safety and Energy efficiency

  • Develop design guidelines

  • Provide specific Design guidance on Product Safety and Energy Efficiency requirements.

  • Support formal Risk Assessments of products in accordance with EU directive requirements.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Determining and interpreting the relevant compliance for specific device types and use cases. 

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar technical discipline.

  • 6 years of HW Compliance R&D experience

  • 3+ years of HW compliance experience on Consumer electronics.  

  • Deep understanding of key hardware regulatory compliance standards in Safety and Energy efficiency specific to core Logitech product lines. 

  • Understanding of different types of consumer product technologies and architecture.  

  • Proven track record of a collaborative teamwork environment

  • Ability to move quickly and work in an ambiguous environment

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, Post Covid as required. 

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Proficient with Excel and Google sheets.  

  • Excellent communications skills. 


  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar technical degree.
