Project Manager Job description

The Role:

As a Project Manager for our global C&P business, you will lead multi-disciplinary team for enabling New Product Introduction (NPI) - from User Experience Exploration to Project definition / validation. You will make the difference by leading the team towards the agreed objectives and by managing activities locally. Your ability to build bridges with other sites will be key as well. Your technical background and your capacity to reduce risks, investigate issues and solve problems at project level will be a great asset. You are as well comfortable to deal with uncertainties in early project phases. You are passionate about delivering amazing experiences to enhance the life of millions of people as they interact everyday with digital content. 

This is a 1 yr Fixed Term Contract

  • Manage and coordinate activities for enabling New Product Introduction (NPI) development.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders such as Business Portfolio / Product Design Manager / Engineering to develop R&D activities and to define project plan.

  • Lead and staff a project team - multi-functions and multi-sites (worldwide).

  • Facilitate communication between functions and sites.

  • Synthesize and present project's stake in a comprehensive matter to help team make decision, make clear recommendation when needed.

  • Manage product Build of Material (BOM) and key project / product documentation.

  • Report and communicate on a regular basis; escalate when project goals are at risk. This includes regular reporting of project status to key stakeholders and Head of Engineering through management review.

  • Identify, evaluate and escalate the risks associated with project activities and take appropriate actions to control the risks and to drive solutions.

  • Synthesize data and information related to scope or risks change.

  • Bring new working model based on your experience and based on the objectives set.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Right mindset to deal with uncertainties, to build bridges between functions and to bring Design Thinking approach in early project phase.

  • Be playful - Build to think - Experiment your way forward.

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager with involvement from initial concept through big volume product delivery.

  • Strong functional knowledge in Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechatronic Engineering and as a plus in Embedded Software (ESW).

  • Excellent knowledge of Project Management Standard & Methodology - especially in the early phase of experience assessment and product definition 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Strong organizational, communication, excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across organizations and geographies and interact, influence and negotiate effectively with all levels of management.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and activities.

  • Independent and Critical thinking with Analytic skills.

  • Good understanding of working with functional team in Global Environment.

  • Ability to travel - Domestic on regular basis and Intercontinental based on project events.

  • Ability to develop comprehensive project development timeline by using proper tools.

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Design Thinking Certificate

  • Strong technical background and 3-5 years of product development as individual contributor.

  • Formal Project Management training and Certification (PMP).


  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering.
