Job Description

Logitech is looking for a Creative Production Assets Manager to join its in-house agency and the Logi Studio team. Big things are happening at Logitech. Come play a critical role as we push our creative work and production to the next level. The newly formed Logi Studio is a post production collective of resources focused on the output of global assets and all that encompasses. Resources will be a combination of internal team and external vendors/freelancers/contractors as needed for specific jobs.

The Role:

The Content Production Assets Manager will have the opportunity to co-develop and lead the Logi Studio’s Creative Assets infrastructure system. They would own all procedures pertaining to storing, accessing, and retrieving content production assets. They will also manage our third-party assets accounts and assist the production team with purchasing and downloading third-party media assets (stock music, photography, etc.). This individual will have a collaborative, entrepreneurial, solution-oriented mindset while understanding the operations of a large company. The Content Production Assets manager is passionate about processes, a gate-keeper of the details, while simultaneously being a visionary who can see the big picture of how to develop a world class internal infrastructure for Content Production Assets. Our ideal candidate should be well versed in the content production process of visual media. The Content Production Assets Manager is a hands-on solutions focused individual who thrives on processes and creating structure, and is not afraid of challenging existing methods to explore new possibilities.

● Co-Develop and implement the infrastructure for assets storage and access, evaluating and recommending 3rd party solutions to support processes.

●Co-Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for the creative asset infrastructure. 

● Create support systems for the administration of data and content, including media storage and access.

● Develop and conduct training sessions and documentation for the media asset infrastructure.

● Partner with creative and production teams to support creative assets infrastructure solutions while balancing practicalities and necessities.

● Support production team by administering all third party media assets such as stock image and stock music sites. 

● Support Production Team and Business Groups by documenting and tracking all licensed media assets. 

● Develop templates for asset collection for both internal and external teams. 

● Communicate with both internal and external production teams to gather production assets.

● Assist internal and external teams with encoding and exporting versions of file formats. 

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

● 3-5 years of experience working directly or indirectly with still photography, live action, motion graphics and CG content.

● Direct experience of developing, integrating and managing internal database systems. 

● Preferred experience in Data Asset Management Systems (DAM), especially related to Media Assets content production. 

● Solid understanding of all sorts of various source files required for content production and how to do proper cataloguing and version control.  

● Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder, with a tactical knowledge of how to encode and export multiple file-formats using existing source files. 

● General understanding of CAD & 3D/CGI production principles, along with an ability to check CG files and how to export multiple file-formats using existing source files.  

● Understand the challenges behind localization, translation, and trans-creation and how they impact production and deliverables.

● Knowledgeable of video codecs and metadata

● Highly detailed and organized with an ability to still be able to see the big picture.

● Creative problem solver and positive, entrepreneurial mindset to flex within a rapidly changing environment.

● Flexibility (within reason) to work outside normal business hours. Occasional travel required.

● Self-driven interest and curiosity in technology. Quick to see the promise of new technologies and the consumer benefit it can provide.

Education:

● BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
