Position at Logitech

This is a hybrid position with a mix of working from home and on site in the Cork office.

The Role: 

As a senior systems engineer/programmer in the collaboration platforms team, you will be involved in the administration and development of enterprise product/service collaboration projects on platforms such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Slack, etc., including system administration, custom add-ons, workflows, and automation development.

In this role you will:

  • Partner with various business functions on requirement gathering,  analysis, and solution design

  • Develop custom add-ons and tools to enable tailor-made functionalities for business needs

  • Work closely with business users to enable custom workflows, dashboards, reports, schemes, and automation

  • Configure and manage platform integrations, add-ons, and mail handlers

  • Manage collaboration platform upgrades, enhancements, and releases with limited supervision

  • Contribute to the overall collaboration platform technical strategy and road map

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and recommend items for automation, restructuring, and optimization


For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:

  • 3+ years of experience in programming with Java and JavaScript

  • 3+ years of experience in administering Jira or similar tools and technologies

  • Excellent knowledge of database structure and management (PostgreSQL is preferred)

  • Cross-platform integration experience on Jira with external applications and plugins

  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work with diverse teams across different time zones

  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Experience in developing Atlassian product add-on

  • Experience in Java, database, Tomcat troubleshooting, and performance tuning

  • Experience in Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Data Studio

  • Good knowledge of ITIL, ITSM, SDLC, and experience in working with Agile teams
