The Logitech Team is growing! We are looking for a security champion who is motivated to participate in a dynamic team focused on creating great devices. Innovation and performance are the core of products design.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, passionate about building great products while taking into account the security element, and has experience working in security. You will be working in collaboration with our product management, design, internal and external development teams.
You will be the security champion working with all of our teams, starting from low-level device interaction to the customer-facing UI, cloud services and everything in between.
Working closely with product management, design, SW and FW engineering teams, you will lead our Security Risk Assessment effort for many of our products. Conduct and/or verify security reviews in the team. That includes building threat models for the new features.
You will develop our Security Product Specification / Security Development Roadmap. The p urpose of this step is to identify how the product will technically tackle Security Requirement. You will guard, develop and promote best practices related to security. You will make sure that security controls are in place and effective.
Conduct and/or verify automated scans
You will help support and further develop our latest generation of devices by participating in the architecture of the communication between our devices and our softwares.
You will be expected to be involved in system and architecture design decisions for many of our future products.
Be a member of the Logitech security community (regular meeting, knowledge sharing) and participate in security events (passive: security conference/talks/workshop/training, active: CTF/training).
Raise security issues in existing and new code
Investigate bug bounty reports
Required Skill Set
5+ years of software design & development experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent writing skills
Relevant work experience, including working in security oriented teams and hands-on software and/or firmware development experience.
Proficiency in Secure Development lifecycle and secure architecture
Experienced in Threat modelling and Risk assessment
Demonstrated track record in pentest
Expertise in C++, Objective C, Python, React and NodeJS is a plus.
Expertise with software linked to hardware products a plus.
Exposure to or knowledge in various low level communication protocols such USB, HID, BT or other a plus.
