The Role

Logitech is seeking an experienced CAD system administrator & system developer in Chennai, India to join a cross-functional team designing and developing consumer electronic products, such as the MX Master 3.  You will be an integral member of a global team that develops new consumer devices from concept through production.  The ideal candidate has strong experience in managing a CAD system and CAD data.

As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for managing our mechanical CAD system and CAD data.  

In this role you will

  • Lead projects on Windchill system development

  • Improve, streamline and manage the administration of our CAD system

  • CAD library owner / library development

  • Day-to-day CAD administration tasks & user support

  • Drive innovation in our tools and work practices.

  • Manage CAD training of our Global team.

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviours to our team:

  • 5 to 8 years experience in managing PTC Creo and Windchill (or similar system)

  • Good knowledge of consumer product development & product lifecycle management (PDM & PLM systems)

  • Highly skilled in problem solving

  • Strong Communication skills with experience in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong Presentation skills

  • Strong organisation skills - ability to create clear templates, workflows and structures that support how we work

  • Good project management skills

  • Passion for learning and continuous improvement

  • Able to work in a Global team (mostly Europe & Asia)

  • Able to speak up and own.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or BSc in Computer Science or a related degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
